両親ともお互い愛人を作って出て行ったと言う特殊な環境で育った主人公の季堂 鋭太（きどう えいた）は、自分の引受人となった叔母の桐生 冴子に少しでも恩を返す為に、学年の中でも特に優秀な成績を収めた生徒のみが獲得することができる権利「国立医学部の推薦と奨学金」を獲得する為に日夜勉学に励む生活を送っていました。
そんな時現れたのが、帰国子女で絶世の美貌を持つ美少女「夏川 真涼（なつかわ ますず）」だったのです。
さらに偶然真涼の席が鋭太の隣になったことにより、真涼は自分には目もくれずひたすら勉学に励む鋭太に対して少しづつ興味を持つようになっていきます。
そして終に真涼は鋭太の気を惹く為に、毎日告白されて困っているので偽者の恋人なってほしいと鋭太に嘆願することにしたのです。
しかし鋭太からは真涼の想像だにしていなかった意外な答えが返ってきたのです。
その答えを聞いた真涼は、終に最終兵器を持ち出し鋭太に究極の選択を迫ったのです。
「俺の彼女と幼なじみが修羅場すぎる」の第１話のストーリーは、こんな感じで現在鋭太が置かれている深刻な状況を説明しつつ、幼馴染や真涼から告白を受けたりと、現在鋭太が置かれている状況を考えると困った出来事が次々に発生してどんどん事態が妙な方向へと進んでいくことになります。
さらにいつの間にか真涼とは偽の恋人になることになって、状況はどんどん悪化していくことになります。
【レビュー・評価・感想】
主人公の置かれている状況をうまくストーリーに絡ませて、ヒロインたちからのアプローチを自然に交わしたり、ヒロインの一人である真涼に２面性を持たせることによって、より人間味のある性格にしたりと、これまでの恋愛系のアニメにはなかった様々な手法を取り入れることによって、より奥の深い美少女系アニメとして制作されていると思います。
しかもこれから鋭太の前には次々にヒロイン候補が現れ、壮絶な鋭太争奪戦を賭けた修羅場が訪れるとのことですので、これからの展開には特に期待できそうです。

『内容紹介』
医者を志望し、国立大学の医学部を目指している季堂鋭太は、羽根ノ山高校（通称ハネ高）入学後、色恋沙汰には脇目も振らず常に学年トップの高成績を維持していた。ところが、帰国子女で校内一の美人と評判の夏川真涼から突然「一緒に帰りませんか？」と誘われ、真意を測りかねた鋭太は真涼の誘いを断ったものの、真涼の側は全く挫ける気配が無く連日誘い続け、鋭太も遂に根負けしてしまう。
